Poem 06

Carousel

Carousel,
You are
Everything I’ve always wanted,
yet I never wish to taint, cause
the pureness of your heart
is far beyond
any other.
Sins of the past, they haunt.
Willingly, they will murder you,
and stain these hands that hold you close
with chaste
impurity.
